Another great thing about posterous

Is that it is easier to blog in places where blogging is frowned upon! People take email for granted. If you are using an email client in places, people think: ok, that's normal.
If you use a blogging client, people might think: hey, what are you doing! You're supposed to be doing something other than blogging! (Even if blogging itself might have alot of value....) Another reason why Posterous is great.
