Deal with firehoses in my RSS feed by seperating them out.

I use and like using Google Reader. I have dozens of RSS feeds in there, and I read them the way some people read the newspaper.

However, the problem is that some of them are overwhelming. Feeds from blogs like the Daily What and Lifehacker can overwhelm me, and I find it upsets the whole process. It makes it feel like I am never on top of things.

My solution is to take such feeds and group them separately from the rest of my feeds. I am going to put them in a section called "Firehose", and I will not try and keep on top of them. IIf I don't get to them from time to time, I also have the sorted by "magic": I am hoping Google will help me find the most relevant ones, and let me just mark the rest as read.

If anyone has better ideas, please let me know.

Ha! I must be doing something right, then, if you are doing it too, Tom.
