#sundayArt: thankful people!
April 29 2012, 6:58 PM
Like my other Sunday art work, I am taking the opportunity to try different ways of creating images. This week I used stamps and ink. I made a vaguely human silhouette by taking a yam and carving out the head and torso you see, and then stamped it onto the paper. In addition, I had various word stamps. I filled them with the word "thanks". Hence the work is called "thankful people".
A lithograph would or woodblock stamp would be better, but yams are faster ;) Sent from my iPod
