I had weeks to think about my first Sunday Art and days to consider my
second. I had some ideas, but i was not very interested in them. Instead i
decided to go with two shapes associated with Easter Sunday (today): the
egg and the cross. The egg likely came first, so i put it to the left. The
cross i associate with gold and shiny so i made it yellow. Yellow and green
are also spring colours and Easter is associated with Spring to some
degree.

As for my less than stellar technique, I am practicing mixing paints, which
is how i came up with the green. I originally aimed for purple but the blue
and the red i had did not make for a great purple. I also practiced
scratching away the greenish paint on the egg to expose the yellow
underneath, and to give the egg the sense of being either decorated or
cracked.
